The King of Hoops Tour Brings Years of On-the-Court Tournament Experience to Atlanta
August 19-22- Multi-day Pro Am Basketball Tournament with NBA Players and Fans
Atlanta, Georgia – August 10, 2010 – The King of Hoops (KoH), America’s Premier Pro Am basketball tournament,has partnered with the Dale Ellis Foundation and National Exchange of Urban Leadership (NEUL) to host a multi-day sporting event featuring several current NBA players, former NBA Legends, and an accomplished jazz musician.
The KoH kicks off the four-day basketball tournament on Thursday, August 19, 2010 with a Charity Golf Tournament hosted by NBA Legend, Dale Ellis, at the City Club of Marietta (510 Powder Springs St, Marietta)from 9 AM-3PM. Afternoon activities include a Charity Night of Jazz featuring writer and producer, Mike Phillips at Justin’s Restaurant (2200 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta) from 8 PM-12AM.
“There’s something synergetic here, combining the golf course, basketball, and jazz. It’s about enjoying the finer things in life…finer people, finer competition… being all on the same level. I think it’s going to be a good look,” said Phillips.
The KoH Basketball Tournament, Friday, August 20-22, 2010 at The Summit: All Tournament Players Park (3910 Canton Road, Marietta) includes corporate attendance from NIKE, NIKE’s Jordan Brand, Bank of America,and the urban gamers, THE KONSOLE KINGZ. Tournament times vary for each day.
