King of Hoops is a summer Pro Am tour that bring three premier tournaments - Atlanta, Dallas and Miami - into one coordinated partnership. The King of Hoops tour boasts of a combined 40 years of tournament event experience, with over fifty current and former National Basketball Association players participating at various times. With future plans to expand events across the nation and around the globe, the tournament directors have committed to bring in the best possible talent, both on and off the court. Michael Reckord
Tournament director Michael Reckord brings years of on-the-court and in-the-trenches experience to the King of Hoops tour. As a 1991 graduate from Texas Tech University, Mike first stepped into the world of sports administration when, as part of the sports and recreation staff, he trained over 300 basketball officials. After graduating from T.T.U., Mike gained valuable experience as a technical recruiter in Dallas, Texas before moving east to Atlanta, Georgia three years later. While in the Dogwood City he become a regional manager responsible in starting the Atlanta branch, where he led a staff of nearly twenty recruiters and account managers in opening a second location in North Atlanta.

Alicia Reckord
Alicia Reckord is a valuable member of the KOH tour strategy team. Alicia attended Florida A & M University and worked in the health insurance industry as a employee trainer in Miami, FL. She relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1999 and began a career as a technical/corporate recruiter working for companies such as Robert Half International, Technical Resource Group and Affiliated Computer Services. Alicia, along with her husband Mike Reckord, co-founded 9RCORP, a basketball officiating company in Atlanta, which grew to 125 officials. After her husband sold 9RCORP, Alicia joined Michael in directing their attention to the Southern Classic Roundball Invitational (SCRI), helping make it the largest and most highly regarded Summer Pro-Am basketball events in the Southeast. In 2007 she co-founded Reckord Group, LLC, an international marketing and basketball consulting firm promoting and facilitating basketball events and player interaction across the globe. Alicia also founded A Duchess Affair-Atlanta, an event planning company specializing in corporate meeting, weddings and special events. Alicia is board member and marketing coordinator for the Fair Oaks Youth Basketball League. Alicia is the proud mother of 5 children.
Clyde Darrisaw
Clyde is a proud graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High. Clyde played in the Miami Dade All-Star High School basketball game as a senior in 1984. A future in basketball looked good for him until injuries cut short his dream of playing the game. He didn't let that stop him. It only gave him another way to approach the sport that he loved, as a player- coach. In the late 80’s he played and coached a dynamic team called the Miami Horsemen. Since 2003 Clyde has been directing the Pre-Memorial Day Tournament which has become highly recognized and anticipated each year in Miami. Clyde is committed to showcasing the best talent the South has to offer while bringing in top participating teams from across the country.
